I'm using MAKEMSI to build a .MSI file that intalls my various device
drivers. So far I have been able to create a .MM file that appends a
location to the DevicePath registry key when the .MSI runs so that
Windows knows where to search for the .INF/.SYS files for my PnP
drivers. However, I would also like to install a root-enumerated bus
driver (basically a modified toaster bus) at the time when the .MSI
runs. How do I do this? Can I do this via some VBSCRIPT inside the
.MM file? It seems that DIFxAPP does not support root-enumerated
drivers and that DEVCON is not redistributable, so I guess these will
not help me.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
